DEEP SOUTH ON ADMIRALS' ITINERARY

The Hampton Roads Admirals released their complete schedule for 1995-96, which sends them from Pennsylvania to Louisiana during their annual ``circus road trip.''

The Admirals, who previously had released their home schedule, are forced out of Scope for 10 days each February by the circus. Last year they traveled to North Division sites only during the circus trip. This season they'll go to Erie and Johnstown, take three days off, then go to South Carolina for a game and Lafayette for two games against the expansion Louisiana IceGators.

``Splitting the road trip actually might make it easier than it's been in the past,'' Admirals assistant coach Al MacIsaac said. ``Regardless, we're just happy to be going south. We didn't go south until the playoffs last season.''

This season they'll travel to Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Nashville and Birmingham of the South Division.

The Admirals' season opener will be Oct. 14, at Charlotte. Their home opener will be Wednesday, Oct. 18, vs. Raleigh.
