John H. Knibb Jr., minister of the gospel, wrote at length about the number of people in the world who profess to be Christian (``Christianity not a minority religion,'' letter, July 26). I guess that includes me; at least that's what is on my Army dog tags.
Why is he concerned about how many people are Christian, and silent about the horrors taking place all over the world?
As I have said many times, Christians, and especially preachers, are in deep trouble by witnessing unspeakable atrocities and spending their time and effort trying to prove how many people in the world call themselves Christians. Who cares?
