Louise Lassiter Jones, 88, of City Park Avenue, died Aug. 3, 1995, in Tampa, Fla.
She was a native of Suffolk, retired from People's Drug Store after 36 years and was a member of Collinswood Baptist Church, Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Cornelius Lassiter and Sarah Bagley Lassiter and the widow of William Thomas Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Pfeiffer of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, George William Jones of Tampa and Bob Jones of Portsmouth; a stepdaughter, Kate Meadows of New Bern, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Dick Jones. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
