Clarence Maywood Richardson Sr., 74, of the 200 block of Joys Creek Road, a retired pipefitter, died Aug. 3, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Richardson was born in Chesapeake, Va. He retired from Colonna Shipyard, Norfolk, and was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Richardson; three daughters, Jean Johnson of Elizabeth City, Linda Shaw of Chesapeake and Charlene Denson of South Mills; a son, Clarence Richardson Jr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Ruby Farrow of Chesapeake; two brothers, William Richardson of Chesapeake and Lewis Richardson of Atlanta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk chapel, by the Rev. Don Chick and the Rev. G.F. Dalton. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence all other times.
