Edgar Goodman, 97, of the 2300 block of Chestnut St., died Aug. 1, 1995.
Mr. Goodman retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was a member of Brighton Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, a trustee, and was an Army veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Goodman; two daughters, Annie Lee Jackson and Lucille Mayo, both of Norristown, Pa.; a son, Robert Goodman of Washington, D.C.; a stepson, Robert Doles of Portsmouth; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Brighton Rock A.M.E. Zion Church by the Rev. Horace Cross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home.
