Doris Mae Grimstead, 61, of the 200 block of E. Gibbs Road, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Grimstead was born in Old Princess Anne County, Va., and was the daughter of the late Larchie and Ruth Ann Dudley Miller. She was predeceased by a son, James Suich.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Grimstead; one daughter, Elizabeth Sawyer of Charlottesville; three sons, Joseph Suich of Knotts Island, Matthew Grimstead of Virginia Beach and Roy Alan Grimstead of Knotts Island; one sister, Elizabeth M. Anderson of Knotts Island; four brothers, Henry E. Miller of Knotts Island, Emery W. Miller, Leroy C. Miller, and James E. Miller, all of Moyock; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 1995, in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Frank Jennings. Interment will be in Blackwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
