The appeal of Tony Morrison's suspension from Virginia Tech was not decided Friday as the lawyer hired by the Morrisons had said it might be. University spokesman Larry Hincker said the decision could be a few more days in coming.
Tech football coach Frank Beamer said Thursday he expected Morrison, from Chesapeake's Indian River High School, would be allowed to return to the team after an appeal of his suspension from the university for unspecified reasons.
``It's premature to say whether he will be able to play football for the university,'' Hincker said Friday. by CNB
