JET SKIS DRIVE AWAY DOLPHINS, TOURIST

I've been vacationing in Virginia Beach for several years. The main reason was to see the dolphins from the beach. I would follow them north for blocks, until I couldn't keep up, every morning; follow them south each evening. They were always the high point of my vacation.

I just recently left from vacationing there. I had to go out on dolphin tours sponsored by the Marine Science Museum to see the dolphins. They no longer come close enough to been seen from the beach. Why? Jet skis!

As long as the jet skis are given free reign, the dolphins will avoid the area. They will stay deep and far away.

I realize money is made from those jet-ski rentals. But wouldn't it make sense to have restricted areas for their use?

But I'm sure the dollar will rule the waves. I'll be taking my dollars to where the dolphins reign.
