HARRY EATON

Harry Eaton, 82, of the 6000 block of Sangamon Ave., died Aug. 4, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Eaton, a retired Lt. j.g. with the U.S. Navy for 23 years, had also retired from civil service. He was born in Carterville, Ill. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Retired Officers Association, F.O.P. Lodge (NU)28. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War with a rank of Lt. j.g.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Eaton of Norfolk; one daughter, Kathleen E. Warmack of Harvey, La.; two grandchildren, Darsey Warmack of Harvey, La., and Colleen Assavedo of Chalmette, La.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in Arlington National Cemetery, by a Navy Chaplain. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
