EUGENE RAY FELTON

Eugene Ray Felton, 73, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at his residence.

A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Felton was a retired electrical engineer with Exxon Refinery after 31 years of service. He served during World War II aboard the USS Cabot in the Pacific. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He was the widower of Ella Thomas Hudgins and was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton and Lillie Felton.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and David Bollinger of Houston, Texas, and Lynn and Spence Lubinski of Marrero, La.; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda Felton of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Nellie Talmage, Gertrude Griggs and Frances Chambers, all of Portsmouth; three brothers, Jesse Arnold Felton of Portsmouth, Bobby Felton of Fort Myers, Fla., and Clinton D. Felton of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Kathryn, Kevin, and Mark Bollinger, Laura, Quintin, Susan and Charles Alan Felton, all of Houston, Texas, and Colin Lubinski of Marrero, La.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, August 9, 1995, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Luke's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Patrick L. Smith. Visiting will be at the church in Pope Hall from 12:30 until the time of service. Interment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 8833 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, La. 70806, or to a charity of your choice.
