Ethel Werbel of Rockville, Md., died on August 4, 1995, in Washington. Funeral services were held at Congregation Olam Tikvah, Annandale, Va., on Sunday.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Werbel; a daughter, Joan Shapiro of Syracuse, N.Y.; three sons, Sam Werbel of Norfolk, Va., Jerry Werbel of Annandale, Va., and Steve Werbel of Merrick, N.Y. Mrs. Werbel is also survived by 14 grandchildren, including the children of Sam and Beverly Werbel: Scott, Evan, and Jill; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The observance of the SHIVAH will be continued on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with services to be held at 8 p.m. at 430 Hariton Court, Norfolk, Va.
