On August 5, 1995, at 5:30 p.m., Mr. Antonio Ulysses Brown, the son of Elijah Brown Jr. and Julia Evans, went to his heavenly rest in the presence of the Lord.
He was born on July 29, 1968, in Norfolk, Va. He accepted the Lord as his Savior on August 3, 1995, under the pastorship of the Rev. A. Golden of Empowered Love Ministries. Antonio was a caring, giving, and loving person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Antonio Brown leaves to mourn; his loving wife, Carole C. Brown; one daughter, Chquita Renee Brown; one son, Le-Timothy Cassell of Virginia Beach; his father, Elijah Brown Jr. of Onslow, N.C.; his mother, Julia Evans and stepfather, Carroll Evans of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Evangelina J. Brown, and Melody Williams of Virginia Beach; one niece, Nakika Williams; grandparents Elijah Brown Sr. and Delilah Brown of Onslow, N.C.; step-grandmother Emma Evans of Norfolk; godmother Lucille Williams of Portsmouth; godfather, Ernest Pendleton of Norfolk; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, August 9, 1995. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
