Shirley Jones Lowe of 1906 Springfield Ave. died August 5, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Suffolk, Va. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Edward M. Lowe Sr.; a daughter, Jacqueline Hopkins of Chesapeake; four sons, Edward Lowe Jr. of Maryland, Collie Lowe of Norfolk, Melvin Lowe of Norfolk, and Gregory Lowe of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 1995, by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams in Antioch Baptist Church, Norfolk. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence the day of the service. Arrangements by Graves Funeral Home.
