Sylvia Siegel Legum, 86, of the 600 block of Princess Anne Road, died Aug. 8, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Legum, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Sol Legum. She was a retired salesperson from the Naivette Shoppe in Norfolk. She was a member of Congregation Beth El, in Norfolk, and was also a member of numerous religious and civic organizations.
Survivors include two sons, Bertrum N. Legum and his wife, Joyce Nesson Legum of Norfolk, James W. ``Jimmy'' Legum of Norfolk; a sister, Irene S. Hillman of Baltimore, Md.; and a grandson, Ross E. Legum of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the B'Nai Israel Cemetery, by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Memorial donations may be made to Congregation Beth El, the Hope House or the National Federation for the Blind. The family will be at 1823 Keswick Drive, in Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel is in charge.
