WILLIAM F. HILL

William Francis ``Bill'' Hill, 81, of Walnut Island, died at his residence Saturday, Aug. 5, 1995.

Mr. Hill was born in Denver, Colo. He had been employed by the Garrett Truckline company, delivering paper for the Denver Post. He was a veteran during World War II, in which he served in the Medical Corps. Mr. Hill was the son of the late William and Theodoria Hill, and husband of Joanne Herman ``Jody'' Hill of the home.

Besides his wife, Mr. Hill is survived by four daughters, Ruby Lee Master and Melody Campbell, both of North Glenn, Colo., Patricia Litsey of Littleton, Colo., and Donna Maestas of Commerce City, Colo.; one son, Chas Laverne Hill of Westminster, Colo.; five stepdaughters; two stepsons; 19 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services were at 6 p.m. Aug. 8, 1995, in the Assembly of God Church, Grandy. Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Church Street, Elizabeth City, in charge.
