Hazel Bowden, 91, formerly of Portsmouth, died Aug. 3, 1995, in Clinton, Md.
Mrs. Bowden was the widow of Ernest Bowden and was a former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Wynn of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming in Fisher Funeral Home. Place of burial is in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will assemble at 715 Madison St., Portsmouth, Va.
