Beulah T. Johnson, 91, of the 2400 block of Barre St., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Aug. 5, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Thomas. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Johnson Sr., and a daughter, Annie E. Hardy. She was formerly a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, during the pastorate of the late Dr. Frank P. Wise.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecelia A. Spivey of Norfolk; a son, William H. Johnson Jr. of Chesapeake; 23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 39 great great-grandchildren; a host of friends; one daughter-in-law, Betty F. Johnson; and one son-in-law, Thee Spivey.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mark RZUA Church, by the Rev. Alvin B. Thomas. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home in charge. Friends may join the family at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
