Emma Riddick Parker, 94, of Mulberry Street, died Aug. 9, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Ms. Parker, a retired public school teacher for Hertford County Schools, was born in Hertford County, N.C. She was a member of Winton Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Nancy Parker Watson, Elizabeth Parker, Virginia Parker, and Martha Parker Coats all of Winton.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Winton Baptist Church, by the Rev. Thomas Caulkins and the Rev. Stephen Moore. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, in charge. Memorial donations may be made to the Winton Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends at the home.
