A 42-year-old man who was being held in a receiving area of the City Jail apparently slipped away unnoticed Wednesday.
Police were looking for John Martin Hall, who was to have been held on a grand larceny charge. His bond had been set at $7,500.
A Sheriff's Department spokeswoman said Hall was discovered missing about 4 p.m. when deputies made a routine count of people being held and came up one short.
``All procedures will be reviewed,'' the spokeswoman said.
