CBS SPORTS CHALLENGE STOPPING HERE

Can you throw the bomb like Troy Aikman? Putt like John Daly? Serve like Andre Agassi? Hit the jumper like Reggie Miller?

If you can or would like to find out how you stack up, then head on out to Chesapeake Square Mall this weekend for the 1995 CBS Sports Challenge National Tour, considered one of network television's premier marketing events.

The Sports Challenge Tour will be at the mall today, tomorrow and Sunday during regular mall hours.

The tour will feature seven events in which participants can accumulate points to qualify for prizes of CBS Sports merchandise including caps and T-shirts. Participants will also be eligible for national sweepstakes prizes, including a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe.

This year's interactive events are:

``18th Hole,'' a golf game where players have three opportunities to sink a winning putt.

``Touchdown Pass,'' where participants attempt to throw touchdown passes over the outstretched hands of a defender.

``Checkered Flag,'' an auto racing game where participants take the driver's seat behind the wheel of a race car simulator and race against the clock and course obstacles.

``Match Point,'' a virtual reality tennis game where players have four chances to return a serve and score points.

``At the Buzzer,'' where participants attempt to beat the clock during a simulated basketball game.

``Shoot Out,'' another basketball game where players attempt to sink baskets from each of five positions on a five-point circle before the buzzer sounds.

``Eye On Sports,'' where participants act out the role of a television sports reporter from the locker room of a winning team.
