JULIAN W. PUGH

Julian Wood ``Bert'' Pugh, 36, of the 100 block of Dale Drive, died Aug. 7, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Pugh was a member of Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and is survived by two daughters, Monique Moody and Jessica Moody, both of Portsmouth; one son, Termine Moody of Portsmouth; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Mae Smith; two sisters, Denise Smith and Diana Smith, both of Portsmouth, Va.; six brothers, Henry Smithill of Chesapeake; Glenwood Smith and Wilbert Smith, both of Portsmouth; Thomas Jefferson and Joseph Alexander Smith, both of Norfolk, and Micheal Smith of Tacoma, Wash.; and devoted friend Sandra Moody. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian W. Parker.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Funeral Home, Norfolk, by Pastor Charles Crocker. Burial will be in Pleasant Shady Cemetery, Newport News. Family and friends will assemble at 1426 Barbour Drive, Portsmouth, on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for funeral processional to the chapel.
