Simmie Boyce Lassiter, 93, of Guardian Care Nursing Home, Roanoke Rapids, died Aug. 11, 1995.
Mrs. Lassiter was born in Northampton County, N.C. She was the widow of Dallas S. Lassiter and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Lasker.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette Collier of Franklin, Va.; two sisters, Sarah Smith of Potecasi and Lois Smith of Potecasi; and a grandson, Timothy Collier of Vancouver, Wash.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at New Hope United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Benson officiating. Burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Rich Square. The family will receive friends Sunday night at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church. The family will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Garrett Funeral Home, Rich Square, in charge of services.
