Frances Ward Hill, 74, of the 300 block of Edward Ave., a homemaker, died Aug. 11, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Hill was born in Chowan County, N.C. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Suffolk, was the widow of Cyrus E. Hill and daughter of the late Annie Byrum Ward and Noah R. Ward.
Survivors include a son, Donnie V. Holcomb of Suffolk; two sisters, Miriam W. Lawrence and Florine W. Ellis, both of Suffolk; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Alan R. Felumlee. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
