Katherine A. Petrin, 84, formerly of Alexandria, Va., and a retired registered nurse, died Aug. 9, 1995 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Petrin was born in Newport, R.I. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine King Johnson and husband Ronald B. Johnson of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, David, Brian and Karen King, all of Virginia Beach; and a nephew and niece.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Blairstown, N.J. Arrangements by Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. A memorial funeral service will also be held at First Baptist Chruch of Virginia Beach on Sunday, August 20, 1995, at 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, 35th and Holly Road, 23451.
