Mr. Clement W. (C.W.) Twiford, 90, of 325 N. Cool Springs Street, died Wednesday at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
A native of Dare County, he was the son of the late Dallas C. and Antha Creet Twiford. He was a retired principal of Goldsboro High School and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from St. Paul United Methodist Church in Goldsboro. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery. Dr. John Paschal and Rev. Bob Bame will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Williams Twiford; a son, Clement W. Twiford of Fayetteville; a sister, Thelma Simmons of Norfolk, Va.; a brother, Archie Twiford of Norfolk, Va.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7 - 9 p.m.
