HENRY CROSS

Henry ``Dick'' Cross, of the 1700 block of Atlanta Ave., a retired crane operator, died Aug. 10, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mr. Cross was born in Norfolk County. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 37 years, was a member of Third Baptist Church and was the widower of Martha Cross.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie C. Colden of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a special friend, Luberta Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
