THOMAS E. GREYARD JR.

Thomas E. Greyard Jr., 79, of the 300 block of Angus Road, a retired machine shop foreman, died Aug. 11, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.

Mr. Greyard was born in Portsmouth. He retired from Norshipco, was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church, a former deacon and men's Adult Sunday School teacher, 50-year member of Churchland Masonic Lodge (NU)276, AF&AM, a Master Mason, member of Gideon International and was the widower of Katherine Farne Greyard. He resided the last six months at Dominion Village.

Survivors include three sons, Col. (Ret.) Thomas E. Greyard III of Chesapeake, William H. Greyard of Reston, Va., and David M. Greyard of Woodbridge, Va.; a brother, James F. Greyard of New Port Richey, Fla.; five grandchildren, Tracey Lynn Coleman, Kimber Lee, Brian Scot, Patrick Francis, and Christopher Sean Greyard; and a great-grandchild, Shane Coleman.

A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge chapel, by the Rev. William Kincaid. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at 728 Parker Road, Chesapeake. Masonic rites will be accorded at the service.
