Napoleon ``Buddy'' Cromwell, 68, of the 1600 block of Charleston Ave., died Aug. 9, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.
Mr. Cromwell was born in Williamston, N.C. He was a former custodian for the Portsmouth city public school system and was the widower of Lelia Cromwell.
Survivors include three daughters, Gina Lewis and Allyson Cromwell, both of Bronx, N.Y., and Cheryl Cromwell of California; two sons, Dwight Cromwell of Bronx, N.Y., and Juan L. Cromwell of Norfolk; two sisters, Erinda Groover and Zula C. Greene, both of Portsmouth; four brothers, Edward Cromwell and James Cromwell, both of Mount Vernon, N.Y., Charles M. Cromwell of Baltimore, Md., and Roy Cromwell of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church, 1023 Deep Creek Blvd., Chesapeake, by the Rev. Olleo Cromwell II. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday.
