WILLIAM JORDAN

William Jordan, 99, of the 4700 block of Bellemeade Blvd., a retired lieutenant, died Aug. 8, 1995, in his home.

Mr. Jordan was born in New York City and was formerly of Portsmouth. He retired from the Navy, was the widower of Troy B. Jordan and was Episcopalian.

Survivors include a sister, Anne Jordan of Floral Park, N.Y.; two nephews; and five nieces.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland chapel, by the Rev. Clayton Crigger. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
