Tyrone ``Mac'' McIntyre, of the 800 block of Garfield St., died Aug. 9, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Mr. McIntyre, a retired rigger, worked for Norfolk Naval Shipyard for 15 years. He was born in Portsmouth, and he was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include his wife Sarah P. McIntyre of Portsmouth; one daughter, Fatina S. McIntyre of Portsmouth; two sons, Michael S. McIntyre and Anthony T. Brown both of Portsmouth; his mother, Mildred B. McIntyre of Portsmouth; four sisters, Doraetta McIntyre, Mildred Wilson, Arneise McIntyre all of Portsmouth, and Talitha Clark of Maryland; three brothers, John McIntyre Jr. and Edward McIntyre, both of Portsmouth, and Donnell McIntyre of Richmond. He was predeceased by his father, John McIntyre Sr., and his sister, Theora McIntyre. He is also survived by two uncles, Joseph McIntyre and Rev. James Whitaker; two aunts, Otelia Whitaker and Verna McIntyre; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 1995, in Mount Hermon Baptist Temple Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. J.M. Whitaker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at noon on Monday. The funeral procession to the church will assemble at 930 Florida Ave., Portsmouth.
