Regarding the article on the angel being built to overlook the spot where Susan Smith drowned her two boys: It really feels good to see that through all the pain this incident has caused, many people have worked together to make our memories of these children last forever. The next thing to be done is to help the father move out of the area so he can put some of the detailed memories behind him. When you actually think about the cost of the move, it would seem so easy to raise the money nationally to help him get his life straight.
On another note: We as a community need to pull together to do things like this for the people in our community. There are many people who live in our neighborhoods that could use our mental support if nothing else. If something tragic were to happen to you, wouldn't you want to know that there is always someone there for you?
