Melton Jarvis, of the 900 block of East Princess Anne Road, died Aug. 11, 1995.
Mr. Jarvis, a retired barber, was born in Powells Point, N.C., and was the son of Columbus and Ardella Jarvis.
Survivors include sisters-in-law, Bessie Jarvis, Corine Jarvis and Martha Jarvis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, among them Rueben Jarvis of Norfolk.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Riddick Funeral Service by the Rev. Jesse E. Arrington. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. for the service.
