Donald Lee Haynes Jr., 23, of the 1200 block of Atlantic Ave., died Aug. 11, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Haynes was born in Norfolk. He was a member of Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C., and a 1990 graduate of Indian River High School.
Survivors include a son, Da'Mon M. Haynes of Portsmouth; his parents, Mrs. Melvina Haynes and Mr. Donald Haynes, Sr.; two sisters, Ms. Nakeisa L. Haynes of Chesapeake, Ms. Katreta Burden of Portsmouth; and three grandparents, Mr. Melvin and Margaret Burden of Norfolk, and Gladys Griffin of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C., Chesapeake, by the Rev. G. Wesley Hardy. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Graves Funeral Home. Family will assemble at 1712 Canton Ave. the day of the service. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
