Jewell W. Reed, 62, of the 4700 block of Bart St., died Aug. 12, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Reed was born in Newsome, Va. She was a member of the Auxiliary Craft Group at Maryview Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Richard ``Dick'' Reed of Portsmouth; one son, Rodney L. Reed of Portsmouth; her mother, Virginia M. Worrell of Portsmouth; one sister, Virginia A. Worrell of Portsmouth; one brother, Jessie Worrell of Monterey, Calif.; one granddaughter, Kristina ``Tina'' Reed of Portsmouth; and one grandson, Jeffrey Michael ``Jeff'' Reed of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. Allen Dooley. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and at other times at 3811 Greenway Court, East, Portsmouth.
