HARRY GRAY

Harry Gray, 85, of the 1300 block of Fisherman's Road, died Aug. 15, 1995 in Chesapeake.

He was a retired security guard with Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a native of Hatteras, N.C. He was the widower of Florence Wilkins Gray and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and the Woodmen of the World. He was also retired from the U.S. Coast Guard.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce G. and her husband, Ernest Piercy of Chesapeake; one brother, Charlie Gray of Arlington, Va.; three grandchildren, Ernest Lee Piercy Jr. of Chesapeake, Tammy Watkins of Virginia Beach, and Melissa Gordon of Virginia Beach; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Frances T. Moody. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made the Frances Allen Circle of Christ United Methodist Church.
