Albert Morris Greene Sr., a loving husband, known by family and friends as ``Honey'', 77, of the 1800 block of Rollis Road, died on Aug. 15, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Greene was a native of Fayetteville, N.C. He was a superintendent for Kempsville Building Materials and had also worked for Suffolk Lumber Company. He attended Indiana United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Greene; five daughters, Mary Crawford of Virginia Beach, Linda Turnbow of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Patricia Greene and Clayborn Cox, both of Roanoke, Va., and Deloris Eanes of Chesapeake; one son, Albert M. Greene Jr. of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Butler.
A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Earl Freeland. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
