Letcher Lee Holland Sr., 64, of the 9600 block of Southwestern Blvd., died Aug. 15, 1995, at McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond.
Mr. Holland was a native of Nansemond County and was the son of the late Gus R. and Pauline Ferguson Holland. Mr. Holland, a farmer, was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a former member of Holland Hunt Club. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Dora Hall Holland; three sons, Letcher L. Holland Jr., Keith Holland, Ricky D. Holland, all of Suffolk; four sisters, Martha Smith of Virginia Beach, Irene Duck of Franklin, Alise Saunders of Suffolk and Annie Lee Brownlie of Santa Maria, Calif.; one brother, Robert Parker Ellis of Roanoke, Va.; a special niece, Tammy Hinchey Forren of Franklin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 1995, at the Holland Cemetery by the Rev. Cecil Smith. Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
