CRESTAR BANK NAMES SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Crestar Bank announced a new senior management team for its business in the Washington area and Maryland. William C. Harris has been named chairman of Greater Washington and Maryland Banking, a new position at Crestar. William A. Wycoff has been designated president of the Maryland Region, effective Jan. 1. The Maryland Region will be headquartered in Baltimore. Peter F. Nostrand will succeed Harris as president of Crestar's Washington Region. Crestar Financial Corporation is the holding company for three banks and 338 banking locations in Virginia, Maryland and the District Of Columbia. Other subsidiaries provide insurance, mortgage banking, and full-service securities and investment advisory services. As of June 30, 1995, Crestar had total assets of $14.6 billion and total deposits of $11.1 billion. by CNB
