Police have identified a man's body that was spotted by a military police officer Monday on a Fort Story beach.
Bakary Tambadou, 26, drowned Sunday after he fell off a boogie board near 19th Street, said police spokesman Lou Thurston. Tambadou, of New York City, reportedly was not a strong swimmer.
