The Virginian-Pilot soon will begin a series in which four
education reporters each follows an eighth-grade student and his/her
family over the course of the upcoming school year. The idea is to
show Hampton Roads citizens how families strive to help their
children in school and how family life and school life are
connected.
We want to chronicle the experiences of everyday kids and
everyday families in the ever-changing '90s.
