Edith Hobbs Lee, of Route 1, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1995.
Mrs. Lee was born in Gates County. The daughter of the late Percy D. and Mrs. Eva Barnes Hobbs, she was a homemaker and a member of the Congregational Church in Painesville, Ohio.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Richardson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Barbara Hazel of Decatur, Texas; one sister, Barbara Blanchard of Sunbury; four brothers, Walter E. Hobbs of Norfolk, James M. Hobbs of Hobbsville, Edward B. Hobbs of Virginia Beach, and Tommy D. Hobbs of Suffolk; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hobbsville Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Ron Parr. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling the arrangements. Friends may join the family at the home of her sister, Route 1, Box 251, Sunbury.
