Alexander Wray Mills, 54, of the 9500 block of Willow Terrace, died Aug. 14, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Mills, a native of Roanoke, Va. and the widower of Carolyn J. Mills, was an office manager for Waco Scaffolding Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly S. Lewis of Norfolk, Theresa Vaughn of Mt. Holly, N.J., Suzanne Copenhaver of Chesapeake; his mother, Ruth Wray Mills of Boones Mill, Va.; three sisters, Kathy Hartman, Betty Jane Guthrie, Anita Mills, all of Boones Mill; three brothers, Herman Mills, Harold Mills, Jerry Mills, all of Boones Mill; two grandchildren, Megan Vaughn and Brandon Vaughn, both of Mt. Holly, N.J.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Hospice.
