Brian Howard Followell, 28, of the 1300 block of Windmill Point Crest, died Aug. 15, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Followell, a native of Norfolk and a food and beverage director for Embassy Suites, Boca Raton, Fla., was an honor graduate of the University of Virginia, with a double major in foreign languages. He was an honorary member of the Historical Society of Boca Raton.
Survivors include his parents, Carolyn Miles of Virginia Beach, and Tim Followell of Norfolk; one sister, Kimberly Moranha of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, Howard and Eleanore Followell of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; one niece, Katie Moranha of Virginia Beach; and one nephew, C.J. Moranha of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Aubrey D. Maye. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Tidewater AIDS Crisis Task Force.
