Nancy Ferguson Saunders, 75, of 916 Maryland Ave., died Aug. 16, 1995.
A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Carl and Clementine Martin Ferguson. Mrs. Saunders was a member of Suffolk Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Harrison Saunders Sr.; four sons, James H. Saunders Jr., Martin R. Saunders, Carl F. Saunders, all of Suffolk, and C. Randolph Saunders of Franklin; one brother, Edwin Carl Ferguson Jr. of Suffolk; six grandchildren, Job R. Saunders, Lisa M. Saunders, Kelly Mazurek, Brian F. Saunders, David B. Saunders, and Adam H. Saunders.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Bruce Havens. The family will be at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439, or to the Suffolk Christian Church Building Fund, 216 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434. R.W.
