International Family Entertainment Inc. of Virginia Beach said it will sell its Ice Capades ice show to DelWilber & Associates of McLean. IFE, which recently bought the ice show, announced the planned sale earlier this week, but didn't initially identify the buyer. Under the deal, DelWilber will issue to IFE $10.2 million in notes to make the purchase. IFE will have the right until 2005 to convert the notes into to a majority position in DelWilber, which is a sports-management and marketing company. Del Wilber, the founder and chief executive of DelWilber, is a former Philadelphia Phillies baseball player. by CNB
