GOP'S ``FOUR HORSEMEN'S '' ANATOMY

Many years ago the newspapers, radio and magazines were utilized to describe and praise the performances of four young football players at Notre Dame. These men were affectionately known as ``The Four Horsemen.''

Today, four different men in Washington, D.C., utilize any and all facets of the media to project their images and ideas. It has been said that Messrs. Dole, Gramm, Gingrich and Helms, though not affectionately, have been called the Four Horsemen of a certain political party.

I would think the public would like to know which part of the horse the D.C. boys represent. To them I say: Keep up the good work, boys, and Bill Clinton will show you the difference between a horse and a donkey in 1996.
