Mrs. Gaddie Quinerly Shields, of 5432 Tidewater Drive, died Aug. 14, 1995.
Mrs. Shields was retired and a member of National Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Carlton Jake Shields; two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Q. Branch and Mrs. Mary Q. Saunders; one brother, George R. Quinerly; and a grandson, Carlton Jr. Other survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, at noon by the Rev. John Nurse at the National Baptist Church, 507 Lucas Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
