Ralph G. Eich, 48, of Virginia Beach, died Aug. 17, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital, of angio sarcoma.
He was born in Long Beach, Calif. and was a self-employed contractor. He retired from the Navy.
Mr. Eich is survived by his wife, Frances-Elaine L. Eich; one daughter, Trine Eich-Koehn of Virginia Beach; two sons, Carson M. Eich and Zachary Landis Eich, both of Virginia Beach; one sister; Donna J. Eich; three brothers, Theadore P. Eich, Peter Eich, and Michael Eich; grandchildren, Heather-Elaine T. Eich, 4 years old, and Daniel O'Neil Eich, 3 years old; a son-in-law, Eric L. Koehn; and adopted daughter, Jill Collins.
There will be a Celebration of Life at St. Nicholas Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Eich will be buried at sea.
