Police on Thursday searched for a man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend and fatally shot her roommate.
Marvelle McKesson, 20, of the 900 block of Marshall Ave., was charged with murder, use of a firearm and malicious wounding, said police spokesman Larry Hill.
Just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, McKesson fled the 1000 block of Warwick Ave., where the two women lived, Hill said.
McKesson was arguing with his girlfriend, Christina Leone, 27, and her roommate, Lisa Segura, 33, before attacking them, Hill said.
Lisa Segura, 33, died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said she was shot on the sidewalk outside her home.
Segura's roommate, Christina Leone, 27, was listed in stable condition at Sentara Norfolk General after she was stabbed on the sidewalk, Hill said.
