OUR BFIT line got another good workout last week as dozens more joined Fitness Quest and shared their goals.
One caller wants to finish the Marine Corps marathon this fall. Another is shooting for an ``outstanding'' rating when he takes his military physical fitness test in October.
Some callers have less measurable goals. They just want to feel better. ``I'm tired of being big, fat and tired,'' said one caller.
Fitness Quest members are invited to free exercise classes Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Contemporary Fitness, 306 W. 21st Street, Norfolk.
For more information, call Wendy Pirovolos at 622-9469.
It's not too late to get on board. Fitness Quest runs through December. If you'd like to join or just find out more about exercise and nutrition, call Infoline at 640-5555 and then press BFIT (2348).
Each week 10 callers who pledge their goals are selected at random to receive a ``Go for Fit'' T-shirt.
This week's winners are:
A. Brooks, Virginia Beach; T. Gearhart, Virginia Beach; M. Golden, Norfolk; D. Hubbard, Chesapeake; A. Hudson, Portsmouth; S. Jimenez, Virginia Beach; E. Johnson, Norfolk; J.Jones, Virginia Beach; M. Murphy, Virginia Beach; and H. Woods, Virginia Beach.
You can order a T-shirt by sending your name, address, shirt size and a check or money order for $10.45 (includes tax) to The Virginian-Pilot, Fitness T-Shirt, P.O. Box 1978, Norfolk, Va. 23501.
